ITT's Fluid Technology business comprises its pump businesses, including brands such as Flygt, Goulds Pumps, Bell & Gossett, A-C Pump, Lowara and Vogel, making ITT the world's largest pump producer. ITT is also a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment equipment under brands like Sanitaire, Aquious and WEDECO. Businesses within the Fluid Technology segment also supply mixers, heat exchangers, boiler controls and related products with brands such as McDonnell & Miller and ITT Standard.
We are currently recruiting for a Chief Information Officer to lead our information technology teams within Fluid Technology.
The Fluid Technology CIO role drives Fluid Technology Information Technology long-term strategies and tactical direction in alignment with Enterprise Information Technology to ensure information resources support and enhance Fluid Technology goals, objectives and processes.
The Fluid Technology CIO directs, defines and manages the implementation of information-based processes, particularly of a cross-Management Group, cross functional and global nature, and exercises project responsibilities aimed at operational improvements and the achievement of strategic advantage.
In alignment with Enterprise Information Technology, the Fluid Technology CIO is responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) and Enterprise Application (EA) strategies to address diverse, complex technical solutions with global implications.
Responsibilities will include:
· Lead the development of Fluid Technology Information Technology vision, strategy (long and short term) and tactical plan, achieving understanding and buy-in throughout the company, supporting the strategic objectives of the Fluid Technology Management Group.
· Effectively communicate Fluid Technology priorities and strategic initiatives across the Company including Senior Management, Enterprise IT leaders and Fluid Technology Management Group and Value Center leaders ensuring alignment of Enterprise, MG and VC initiatives and priorities.
· Directs the planning and deployment of major cross Fluid Technology Management Group, cross functional projects. Works closely with Enterprise Information Technology leaders to ensure alignment of plans and resources to support Management Group initiatives.
· Work closely with Fluid Technology Value Center IT leaders and their staffs to identify and implement cross Management Group process best practices, common applications and tool synergies and also to leverage collective IT people/skills by establishing Competency Centers.
· Directs Fluid Technology IT Competency Centers. Works closely with Motion & Flow Control CIO insuring that FT/MFC shared IT Competency Centers are in alignment regarding plans, projects, priorities, funding and resources.
· Support the Headquarters and other Management Groups in developing and implementing effective application strategies to address diverse, complex business and technical challenges.
· Remain abreast of industry actions and technical developments in information technologies and applications. Recommend the appropriate technologies and market applications to most effectively exploit opportunities.
· Constructively challenge conventional thinking, bringing fresh insights and judgment to leverage Information Technology processes, people/skills and tools. Focus on opportunities for increased cost reduction and/or improved service levels.

Requirements Include:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science, MIS or relevant field.
· MBA preferred
· 7-10 years of professional level experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in deploying global applications.
· Extensive domestic and international travel required.
