Job Description Chromatography Applications Chemist The successful candidate will be highly instrumental in growing the sales of Thermo Fisher’s trace elemental products and systems.  Responsibilities include providing product demonstrations for customers in support of the sales organization, coordinating the delivery of both pre- and post-applications support, and partnering with sales to identify and target new accounts.  Additionally, the person in this position will attend select trade shows and technical conferences; required annual travel averages 40%.  Other miscellaneous duties will be assigned.We require a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a similar field, along with extensive operational experience in GC, HPLC, GC-MS and LC/MS instrumentation, including practical experience with at least one of the following: Ion Trap, Single Quadrupole and Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry.  Applicants should have prior experience in preparing and delivering technical seminars and demonstrations, and excellent time management skills.  Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.  Broad familiarity in one or more of the following Markets (pharmaceutical, environmental, food safety, forensics, petroleum, petrochemical) is strongly desired, as is an advanced degree.
