Cincinnati Laser Cutting Machine Operator

This position would entail a number of responsibilities: We are seeking an operator of “state of the art” laser cutting machine; Learn G-codes; Hands on operation of laser. As a Laser Operator you will set up, adjust, and operate a CNC laser cutting machine by reading and interpreting blueprints to determining gas type, nozzle size, and focus lens based on type and thickness of material. Using precision measuring equipment you will inspect parts and document inspection data.

This position requires the following skills and educational requirements. General computer literacy; Strong math skills; Mechanical Aptitude; Strong communication skills; Ability to work as part of a team; Strong work ethic. Must be detail oriented.  Sheet metal experience needed. Sheet metal layout a plus. Qualified candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience setting up and running lasers. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
