Qualifications:

Manage the Department’s account handling function, developing strong client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards.Work to streamline the Department’s project management processes and procedures to deliver the highest quality work to Saint-Gobain internal clients in the most cost-effective manner. Monitor and enforce departmental standards for service and quality.Develop business with existing clients. Provide information on client development potential to Manager, Creative Services, and contribute to the strategic planning for future department services, evolution and growth.Assist Manager, Creative Services, with marketing the department’s services to potential clients.1. 40% - Management of a team of CS art directors and copywriters to ensure they meet appropriate CS standards for quality of work and responsiveness of customer service, including:• Supervising day-to-day client contact by art directors and copywriters• Mentoring staff to develop their project management and customer service capabilities• Identify training needs• Conducting annual appraisals and regular staff evaluations and providing feedback• Providing recommendations for overall staffing levels in the account handling function• Authorizing use / management of freelancers2. 30% - Overall management of key client relationships, including:• Ensuring that the Creative Services vision, brand message and mission is the focus of all client interactions• Coordinating business development in relation to current clients, maximizing the potential of each account and expanding the role of Creative Services to help clients meet their objectives using the full range of services offered by the department • Leading account teams to develop and facilitate branding, product introduction and marketing communication brainstorming sessions)• Identifying resource needs and recommending an account team to best serve each client’s needs• Client consultation (clarifying needs, objectives, target audience, budget, timelines, messaging, etc)• Marketing planning support (developing solutions to accomplish strategic marketing objectives)• Providing project financial estimates and budget planning• Project management (ensuring jobs are delivered within the agreed budget and timescales, and to a high standard)• Obtain client feedback on CS performance and provide to CS staff• Provide regular troubleshooting and problem solving to resolve issues that could affect project outcomes and relationships with clients3. 20% - Departmental project planning and workflow management, including:• Developing appropriate tools, mechanisms, policies and procedures for traffic and project management• Providing ongoing analysis of account handling performance and drive ways of maximizing efficiency• Distribution of specific projects/accounts among staff• Monitoring individual project performance against budget and timescales4. 10% - Assist Manager, Creative Services, with the strategic development of new accounts, including:• Identifying opportunities for business development• Actively promoting the Department’s capabilities and services to new clients• Developing tools to promote and explain Creative Services’ role and missionBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related business field2. Minimum eight years’ experience with an advertising or marketing agency, or in other marketing role3. Minimum five years’ experience in management of major creative communication and production projects. 4. Minimum five years’ experience managing a team of people5. Excellent knowledge of marketing trends, tools and techniques6. Solid computer skills, especially Word, Powerpoint, Excel7. Good presentation skills8. Facilitation experience a plus
