Job Description Commercial Product Manager Position Summary: This role is a senior level commercial position chartered to define and implement strategies and tactics to establish pricing, grow the revenue and gross margin with existing and new accounts. This position will be responsible for full management of the partnership with the accounts, driving, managing and forecasting the sales pipeline, building and maintaining a high performing support team in the organization, managing the sales process, coordinating the use of internal resources.Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities: • Responsible for establishing price maintaining and growing the business with key accounts. • Define and implement strategies and tactics to grow the margin and to present value based pricing. • Develops and maintains a tactical and strategic operating plan for the key accounts that includes opportunity map, forecast, sales strategies and tactics, resource requirements. • Understands the generic strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develops sales strategies to respond effectively and maintain the key positions at the accounts. • Performing regular business reviews with the key accounts, involving the major stake-holders form both sides • Drive supplier ratings (quality, logistics, technology, cost) to “best in class” levels to ensure long term relationships • Understands technology roadmaps and market strategies of customer • Work out product roadmaps in alignment with key accounts roadmaps • Supports business cases for new opportunities incl. value based pricing. • Building and maintaining a strong, results-driven, high performance team across the whole organization to support the key accounts. • Sustain gross functional relationship between our organization and the customer including upper management levels. • Supports implementation of customer relationship management processes and systems. • Ensures implementation schedules and support activities are aligned with commitments to customers and to management.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: • Bachelor degree of Business & Administration or comparable education. • 3-5 years experience in industry with progressively increasing responsibilities • Experience in business development, marketing, and/or program management (2 years minimum) • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and unit analysis • Demonstrated success in forming interdepartmental relationships • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skills • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment • Strong organizational and time management skills • Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, pursue and win at customer opportunities • Operations, Finance, or Engineering experience • Industry experience a plus but not required • Demonstrated Experience working with engineered products Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: • Travel estimated at 30% of time, independently to customer sites, trade shows and sales meetings.
