Compliance Manager

LYNX Services, a national claims management company, has an immediate opening for a Compliance Manager in either Fort Myers, FL or Pittsburgh, PA. LYNX Services provides advanced auto glass, collision, and First Notice of Loss claims reporting and processing solutions on behalf of leading insurance companies and associated work providers. LYNX Services was founded by PPG Industries, Inc., a global producer of coatings, fiber glass, glass products and industrial and specialty chemicals.


Job Summary:
Implements, researches, develops, administers and manages activities related to state insurance and regulatory compliance and/or business practice compliance in an effort to advise key business leaders regarding state requirements and regulations that affect the offering of services to the insurance and fleet industries.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversees licensing, professional registration, and renewal/on-going compliance of a team of internal and field appraiser/adjusters in multiple locations
• Ensures compliance with the insurance statues and regulations for all states within the USA as well as Canada
• Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with state regulators, as well as internal and client Legal Counsel
• Monitors and reports on new and pending legislation at the state and national level that may affect the Company’s operations and its related businesses
• Researches, analyzes and interprets state statutes, laws and regulations; tracks and reports on proposed legislation or regulations. Analyzes and interprets new laws and regulations and disseminates overview for the affected areas within the organization

Position Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required. JD desired but not required
• Extensive knowledge and experience with insurance compliance and regulatory standards/practices within the
US and Canada
• Must have good working knowledge of licensing requirements for both Adjusters and Appraisers
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have good research and analytical skills
• Ability to think and act strategically contributing to compliance improvement initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
