Configuration Management Coordinator

Position Title: Configuration Management Coordinator

 

Job Function: 

 

· Coordinates and maintains the configuration of documents including drawings, BOM’s (Bill of Materials), QCP’s and other documents through database means.  This coordination will maintain the correct configuration of documents which determine which is the correct revision level of product our suppliers are to build and we are to inspect.

 

Key Duties: 

 

· Prepares and analyzes reports, when necessary, as required for documentation status.

· Provides prompt, accurate services to sales, operations, engineering, quality, among others.

· Provides assistance with international documentation, when needed.

· Assist in the expediting of the quoting process.

· Assist in the expedition of program management orders.

· Assembles data and prepares complex and/or confidential reports.

· Handles problems without referring them to a supervisor.

· Performs a responsible liaison function between supervisor and other employees or other departments.

 

Position Qualifications: 

 

· 2 – 5 years of related experience.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Good organizational skills.

· High school diploma required, college degree preferred.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks.

· Good decision making skills.

· Excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications in addition to excellent database skills.

· Must have a system of structured habits and attention to detail.

· Understanding of drawing configuration principles is desired.

· Confidentiality.
