Mngr Description Provide development process documentation, control, and management for the engineering department, in general, and for specific programs, as applicable. This includes configuring engineering processes, templates, and guidelines before project startup, and improving the processes as necessary, during the development effort. Initial focus for this position is on the CSSD organizational implementation of the Rational Unified Process (RUP).Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:· Interface with Configuration Management to understand and help to implement new processes· Assist with the establishment and on-going refinement of the CSSD implementation of the RUP· Interfaces with the project team to establish a development case for each program, launch the development case for the project· Monitor projects to determine adherence to process· Adjust processes, as necessary, to better meet needs of developing programs.· Help to establish guidelines, plans, templates, and standards at an CSSD engineering organizational level· Verify tools are setup/configured according to standards and available for use on programs.· Develop or manage the development of any necessary project specific guidelines/templates to support the planned processes· Educate personnel on engineering processes (awareness training)Requirements Configuration Managment experience 3 years RUPBS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field10 years overall experience in current CSSD engineering developmental processesTraining Required
