Consumer Business- Manage Customer Accounts in designated areas of responsibility- Maintain existing business and develop new business at planned margins or better- Develop individual account strategies to increase Sales- Manage Customer receivables and Past Due payments in line with, or better than targets- Produce monthly reports, sales forecasts and measure progress against plan- Produce market reports as required, highlighting key factors affecting market conditions, competition, strategy, targets and forecasts- Assist in the planning and manning of Trade fairs and visit exhibitions as and when it is felt necessary- Provide product and company presentations and training as required- Ensure all commercial and financial needs are met, in the administration of Customer orders i.e. Letters of Credit, Export licences, special prices / terms etc.- Liaise daily, as necessary, with Markon Sawafuji joint venture and Sawafuji Electric Company in Japan- Follow the guiding principles of the Customer Led Quality Policy and work to the departmental procedures and work instructions. Cummins Account Manager ' Americas- To act as the key account manager for Cummins Power Generation activities in the Americas, to include CPG Fridley and CPG Brazil.- To ensure that CPG Americas requirements are supported and that actions are progressed through the CGT business to resolve issues on time and to the acceptance of CPG.- Lead the monthly account review with CPG ' against agreed score card measures.- Provide a communication hub between CGT and CPG in the Americas.- Liaise with CPG Brazil and Fridley facilities on all Quality, Delivery, Inventory and other account related issues.- Provide CPG sales forecast- Support the Cummins Global Account Manager to ensure that CGT is the supplier of choice! Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; MBA preferred. - A minimum of 4 years related experience required, including a minimum of 2 years experience in the commercial sales field - Product and Market knowledge - Negotiating skills - Commercial acumen - Account Management - Creation of tender responses Cummins is an Equal Opportunity Employer
