Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Avis America, one of the nations’ leading manufacturers of custom modular homes, is seeking a C.I. Coordinator to effectively plan, develop, and coordinate all plant-level continuous improvement activities and to proactively lead and support an organizational culture of Safety, Quality, Financial Performance, and Customer Satisfaction.

 

The key responsibilities for the position include:

- Conducting operational assessments and work analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.

- Applying Lean and Six Sigma tools through Continuous Improvement projects to achieve financial and customer benefits.

- Assisting in the formulation and implementation of Continuous Improvement policies and procedures.

- Collecting and analyzing data for problem-solving and decision-making purposes.

- Tracking and reporting on C.I. progress to senior management.

- Providing constructive and creative input to plant management in respect to Continuous Improvement concepts and methodologies.

- Designing and implementing relevant C.I. training and education programs.

 

Qualified candidates will have a degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant discipline.  A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma.  And, well developed organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and PC skills.

 

Salary is commensurate on experience, no commission, but possibility of bonuses if company goals are met.
