If you are prepared to work in an exciting and rewarding environment, we look forward to considering your experience and qualifications. Continuous Improvement Engineer – Black Belt development program Responsibilities: Ø Drive process improvement to enhance quality, safety, customer satisfaction, production standards, and cost efficienciesØ Investigate and identify new technology requirements for ongoing improvements, including automation improvements, machine upgrades, and other technical improvements Ø Implement innovations, improvements, and cost reduction projectsØ Evaluate, develop and execute a broad spectrum of projects including project planning, feasibility studies, design, cost estimation preparation of appropriation requestsØ Provide technical/engineering support to production and other plant functionsØ Assist in the development of project budgets, schedules, and timetablesØ Assists with the selection of new equipment, sets up new equipment, and trains staff in the proper operation of equipment Requirements: Ø BS in Mechanical Engineering Ø Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Manufacturing environmentØ Strong mathematical and analytical skills required; Ability to read, analyze and interpret statistical data and ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and specificationsØ Familiarity with Six Sigma and desire to enter into a Six Sigma certification programØ Experience with automated visual inspection systems / optical inspection systems is a plus Resumes forwarded as a Microsoft WORD document attachment are preferred.  Please reference job code 2407 with your response. Word BankSix sigma, black belt, green belt, lean, 5S, kaizen, DMAIC, ISO, extrusion, blow molding, injection molding, equipment, manufacturing, process, analytical, SPC, continuous improvement, continuous production, process engineer, CI engineer MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
