Continuously Expanding Manufacturing firm Seeking Accountant

This growing firm specializes in manufacturing aircrafts and currently has a fleet of over 360 between North and South America.  The Philadelphia office, currently one of the largest locations for assembly, is currently recruiting for accountants.

Duties & Responsibilities

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts

Document business transactions

Perform month end reconciliations for various general ledger accounts

Analyze general ledger accounts for unusual transactions

Document and report findings to Accounting Manager

Assist in the implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures

Prepare and record month end journal entries as appropriate

Work on special projects as required

 

Preferred Qualifications

BS in Accounting or Finance

2 years of experience in a similar role performing the tasks noted above

Proficient in with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Hyperion financial reporting experience would be a plus

 

Compensation: $38,000 to $45,000
