Swisslog’s Healthcare Solution’s division is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to work in our Chicago, IL office.  We are looking for a high-energy, self-directed individual to work on new contracts and billing/contract administrative requirements throughout the projects.  Effective communication with customers and internal staff will enable this individual to become a resource for evaluating risk, improving processes and resolving issues.  Principal Accountabilities:1. Assist Sales Reps with bidding requirements; obtain bid bonds, provide pre-bid qualification information, review bid documents and advise on contract terms/conditions to be included with bids.2. Review contracts/subcontracts after award for terms/conditions; prepare modifications to conform to acceptable risk management and payment terms, as well as scope of work and cost issues.  Negotiate final executed contract. 3. Handle front-end contract requirements such as insurance requirements, payment and performance bonds, and related correspondence to final execution of contracts.4. Track and issue all contract progress billings in accordance with customer requirements as well as related documents/reports. Work with Project Managers to insure billings reflect all job costs and proper values of work completed to date as well as all anticipated cost through the end of the current month, to insure adequate cash flow.5. Input all contract invoices (as well as credits, corrections) into SAP software using appropriate accounting and tax “rules” to insure proper accounting for same. 6. Monitor and enforce payments against invoices issued.  Position Qualifications: · 2 to 3 years construction contract experience in an admin capacity involving contracts/subcontracts· 2 to 3 years accounts receivable management experience· Undergraduate degree· PC/Spreadsheet experience· Excellent verbal/written communication skills.· Negotiation skills.Desirable but not Essential: · Advanced spreadsheet/PC skills· Heavy personal contact with construction projects and customer personnel in an admin capacity· Government contracting experience· Bidding/contract proposal preparation experience· Construction insurance/bonding experience with solid understanding.
