Contract Administrator IV
Job Responsibilities: Position will have primary responsibility for US Government and international programs contract management. Require an individual with significant (five years minimum) experience for US Government and/or (two years minimum) in international contracting experience including: expertise in pricing and proposal development, negotiation, contract administration, and advanced understanding of US Government and/or international commercial contractual instruments including contract type, terms and conditions, shipping terms, and contract financing vehicles Capable of handling multiple moderately complex contracts simultaneously involving substantial risk with little or no consultation with management. Participates in and/or conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract fulfillment with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines and evaluates cost estimate for material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares proposal, negotiates contract terms and conditions, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, complies and analyzes data, responsible for records management. Works under limited supervision and develops creative solutions using sound judgment to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure business unit compliance. Capable of serving as an example and mentor to younger members of the Contracts staff.. Team building with internal functions: Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Business Development.Position Requirements: BS/BA in Business, Finance or related field. Advance degree is highly desired; NCMA certification is a plus Five to Ten years experience in contracts administration Experience in proposal preparation, risk identification and negotiations Extensive knowledge of the FAR and DFAR Two to Four years International contracting experience ATK is on the move.
