JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Contracts Assistant
Location: Chatsworth, California
Shift: Monday – Friday (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Salary: Starting at $18.00 (based on qualifications)
BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for all segments of the contracts administration function. Insure that contracts with customers are fulfilled satisfactorily and that favorable relationships with customers are maintained. The ideal candidate should posses a strong knowledge of all Microsoft soft wares. Additionally, but not limited to responsibilities listed below:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Provide the interpretation of contract provisions, screening and processing customer inquiries to insure prompt handling, and maintaining continuing customer liaison.Monitor progress of work performance under the contract and preparing periodic reports and estimates of completion dates.Participate in the development of sales proposals, negotiation of new contracts and re-negotiation of existing contracts, and provide support to the sales organization.Should possess the ability to multi task and a sharp decision maker able to resolve issues and work under minimal supervision.Possess the ability to work and communicate professionally with all levels of staff and management in an ethnically diverse environment and in dealing with different customers.
· Possess excellent communication written and verbal skills. Establish and maintain contact, coordination and liaison with staff members reporting directly to the executive team.Assists in various projects, including, drafting correspondence, e-mails and other projects as necessary. Must have Excel spreadsheet reporting knowledge and strong analytical skills.Must be computer savvy and have a thorough understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Able to establish priorities and ensure deadlines are met and must be able to work overtime as required.Must be able to manage highly confidential subject matter appropriately.High energy and diligent with strong dependability and work ethic and a problem solver.
