Controller / Accounting Manager

An opportunity is available for a Plant Controller / Accounting Manager in an extremely profitable and stable manufacturing facility located in beautiful rural Indiana (about 60 miles from South Bend).  The company has a long history of unwavering commitment to their employees and maintaining close relationships with their customers.  They have a strong reputation for internal employee advancement and being a flagship for cultural transformation in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies which have resulted in phenomenal business prosperity.

 

Responsibilities for the Controller include managing Profit and Loss (P&L), financial and cost analysis to determine what affects profitability, overseeing purchasing, inventory, and production scheduling, supervising accounting and purchasing personnel, overseeing Human Resource functions, and being the key adviser to the General Manager etc.

 

Requirements include someone with a high energy level and a can-do attitude, someone with extensive financial analysis experience including P&L responsibilities, supervisory skills and experience, experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong cost accounting experience, and lean manufacturing / six sigma training and experience.  Other responsibilities include a Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred) and someone with the drive and desire to learn, grow, and advance within this wonderfully professional corporation.
