We are seeking candidates for the position of Corporate Buyer for Copper and Brass Sales division at our Southfield, MI Location

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for purchasing activities for Aluminum sheet and coil, including:

 Quoting and supporting sales contractsManage supply chain to schedule material to meet stated inventory objectivesUnderstand global supply baseEstablish supplier relationships with both inside and outside sales contacts

 Qualified candidates will have:

 A 4 year college degree with a background in business, supply chain management or purchasing 1-2 years purchasing experiencePrevious experience in the metals industry preferredStrong computer knowledge Effective communication and listening skills
