Corporate Recruiter
Position Description:
Position Summary:The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for managing full life-cycle recruiting of both exempt and nonexempt positions for assigned client groups. Primary Responsibilities:• Coordinates staffing requirements with Hiring Managers, Directors, Business Leaders, and Site HR for assigned client groups to ensure timely and effective hiring practices.• Leads kick-off meetings with Hiring Managers and Site HR to discuss job descriptions, position qualifications & core competencies, professional and industry associations, networking contacts, etc. to develop appropriate recruitment strategies.• Builds ongoing relationships with Hiring Managers and Business Leaders to understand business requirements and needs in order to stay abreast of future workforce needs.• Coordinates and drives the recruiting & hiring process to include: sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, selecting, negotiating and extending offers (including explanation of compensation plans, benefits, etc), coordinating the pre-employment process (ie. reference checks, background checks, etc.), coordinating relocation where needed.• Develops and executes creative sourcing strategies to identify top talent including direct sourcing / cold calling, networking, internal referral generation, internet postings & resume search, etc.• Researches a wide variety of resources to stay current on business & industry trends, as well as develop pipelines for critical positions. (ie researching trade publications, industry associations, membership directories, developing industry networking contacts, etc.)• Advise Hiring Managers and Site HR on recruitment and hiring best practices.• Assists with University Relations and campus events as needed for assigned client groups.• Ensures all recruiting practices are in compliance with OFCCP guidelines and Affirmative Action Plans.• Maintains accurate applicant data and requisition information in company ATS.• Partners with Talent Acquisition Manager to identify opportunities for improvement in best practices, processes, tools & resources, etc.• Works on additional Talent Acquisition projects as assigned (ie AAP, process improvement, ATS, relocation, onboarding, etc)Job Requirements:• Minimum of 3 to 5 years managing full life-cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced Corporate environment. Retained agency experience a plus. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. PHR / SPHR desired.• Demonstrated success in developing creative and diverse sourcing solutions for identifying top talent.• Ability to effectively drive the hiring process including providing guidance to Hiring Managers, Business Leaders, and Site HR; assessing candidates and making hiring recommendations, ensuring timely follow up, and closing candidates on job offers.• Skills required for success in this position include, but are not limited to: the ability to communicate at various levels, multi-tasking and organization, problem-solving, the ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment. • Previous college recruiting experience, experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), and developing AAP/EEOC programs desired.
