We are currently looking for a Cost Financial Analyst at our Batesville, IN location.

JOB SUMMARY: The Cost Financial Analyst will work with the Director Operations Finance and Administration in a hands-on role in forecasting, summarizing, analyzing, and reporting BCC’s financial results and key financial metrics associated with the BCC supply chain organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in the annual planning and budgeting process providing detailed financial metrics and consolidated cost analysis with focus on both plant operations and field distribution network. Participate in analyzing the BCC supply chain month end financial results and related reporting including operations manufacturing costs and variances (variable and fixed), field distribution costs and variances, non-financial measures, inventory and other key income statement and balance sheet variances. Participate in developing and analyzing key financial metrics and applicable levels of monthly variance analysis reporting, margin analysis, cost variances reconciliations and key drivers of balance sheet and other variances. Participate in the monthly forecasting process from a supply chain organization perspective, including analysis of cost of goods sold and projections for future periods. Participate in other ad hoc financial analysis projects and special projects as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting (preferred) or Finance. Two – Four years cost accounting experience Proficiency with JD Edwards, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficient. Strong analytical skills. Able to work independently. Team player with improvement mindset Results oriented. Able to work with all levels of the organization. Project management skills.
