We have a great opportunity in our Houston, Texas facility for a motivated person interested in split responsibilities as a courier and information center specialist.  Below are the respective responsibilities. COURIER 50%

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Collects containers in various forms (size/weight) and returns to the company.

2) Ensures all containers are properly secured/locked at all times.

3) Obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.

4) Cleans inside of the company vehicle and performs routine pre-trip inspections.

5) Assists in resolving customer complaints and notifies management of any issues.

6) Ensures customer satisfaction and relays any concerns to management.

7) Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor.

8) Secures containers inside company vehicle by using straps, tie-downs and/or rope.

9) Must visit scheduled customers’ sites to see if there are any containers/media for collection.

10) Ensures all containers have the correct coding information (bar code and/or numbers) and that it matches the pick up/delivery receipts.

11) Completes all necessary paperwork and inputs into computer as required by the Company.

12) Completes daily run sheets and/or driver’s log of customer sites visited and their respective timeframes, mileage driven and # of container picked up/dropped off.

13) Exhibits professional, well groomed, neat appearance that is reflective of our image at Recall at all times

14) Perform other duties as requested by management.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
All couriers must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test and a background check  to employment and random checks after.

A high school education or equivalent is required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Ability to calculate figures to reconcile container amounts with paperwork.

Retain a Class “C” license

Must be computer literate.

 

INFORMATION CENTER SPECIALIST  50%

Summary: Individual will be responsible for retrieving items from a computer generated list, and scanning those items from a computer system. Recall is a secure and environmentally controlled facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Able to perform physical activity that includes reaching, lifting,

usage of ladders, standing for long periods, and walking.
2)   Will be trained on our computer process and daily job duties.
3)   Must be able to count accurately and pay attention to detail.

4) May occasionally need to ride with courier to assist with pick ups and/or

deliveries.


SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS
1) Immediately reports any/all accidents, property damage and/or work

related injuries to supervisor.
2) Perform other duties as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must successfully complete drug and alcohol test, background check, and written test.
A high school education or equivalent is required.
Two forms of ID.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic accounting (counting).
Must be computer literate.
