Customer Service Rep - Temporary

Lightolier, a premier leader in the lighting industry and Philips group brand product is looking for a Customer Service rep for a 3 to 6 month temporary assignment in our Auburn Hills sales office.

 

The incumbent will be responsible for functions related to daily office operations.  They will interact with members of our sales team to co-ordinate efforts of projects and outstanding related issues.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Enter and track orders in excel.Answer multi-line phone systemRespond to customer inquiries, evaluate and process general and detailed maintenancePre-edit orders to ascertain compliance and proper processing of orders; expedite orders; follow-up on orders to check accuracy, do maintenance and remove holds as necessary and compliance of all pricing policiesPartners with outside sales team to ensure customer accounts are managed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.Effectively maintain the above responsibilities through adherence to the office policies and procedures

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 High school diploma/GED Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills (Excel)Knowledge of customer service procedures and prior customer service experience Ability to handle large volume outstanding issues for on-going projectsTake charge self-starter; team player with positive attitude; able to effectively work under pressureAble to prioritize, multi-task and organize workload; able to overcome obstacles and meet deadlines within a fast paced environment.
