Position Title:    Customer Service Representative

Reports to:        Operations and Services Manager

Position Summary:

Serves as source of information to sales representatives, customers, and production personnel on all jobs being manufactured.Serves as source of information to sales representatives, customers, and production personnel on all jobs being manufactured.



Essential Functions:

Services internal and external customers by gathering and transmitting accurate information between customers, sales and production, and ensuring that quality requirements are met.Services internal and external customers by gathering and transmitting accurate information between customers, sales and production, and ensuring that quality requirements are met. Receives orders from sales representative, customer or project engineer and checks for completeness. Compares with estimate and discusses any differences with sales representative. Enters repeat orders and warehouse releases into computer system. Keep accurate records on all jobs. Prepares jobs for billing, subject to review by sales person. Works with other company stakeholders to distribute samples to customers when needed. Tracks and documents specific customer’s work in greater detail when needed. Serves as back up on front desk when essential. Accompanies sales reps on customer calls as requested. Respects and conforms to all accepted safe work practices, standards and regulations. Keeps work environment neat and well organized at all times. Initiates action to prevent problems, documents quality problems, contributes solutions to problems, verifies implementation of solutions. Controls further processing when a problem is identified. Tracks job through production and communicate any problems, changes and alterations to plant personnel, sales representatives and customers.

Other Responsibilities: Performs other duties as required. Attends ongoing in-house quality education classes. Observe and conform to all company rules and regulations as outlined in the "Employee Handbook."

 

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of three years customer service experience required; must have the ability to describe physical objects and job processes over the phone or in writing; must initiate and maintain good organization of records and information; good math skills required; have a professional telephone technique; business correspondence skills as well as computer knowledge; high school diploma or equivalent; two years of experience in the printing or related industry, and a working knowledge of printing processes, materials and products is desirable.Minimum of three years customer service experience required; must have the ability to describe physical objects and job processes over the phone or in writing; must initiate and maintain good organization of records and information; good math skills required; have a professional telephone technique; business correspondence skills as well as computer knowledge; high school diploma or equivalent; two years of experience in the printing or related industry, and a working knowledge of printing processes, materials and products is desirable.



Optimum candidate will have experience in with commercial printing, packaging, corrugated packaging and P.O.P display.
