Customer Service / Shipping / Receiving Clerk Company in the city of Burbank is currently looking for a customer service/shipping and receiving clerk. Job Duties Include: Handles processing of international sales orders with heavy correspondence via email, fax and busy phones. Checks availability of stock. Schedules delivery dates. Prepares packing slip, proform invoices. Coordinates shipping arrangements with freight companies for US and International destinations. Works directly with sales colleagues, assisting with all aspects of entering sales orders and returns or repairs and follow up correspondence. Experience: 1 - 2 years experience in customer service, preferably with a manufacturer, distributor or company that does direct sales through catalogs. Must be able to lift 30 lbs without difficulty. Measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of machines. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
