Customer Support/Estimator/Inside Sales Representative

Longhorn Steel, a multi-million dollar privately held plate processing company formed in 1988, located in NW Houston needs additional sales staff to support our growing demand.  We have an immediate need for a customer support/estimator/inside sales representative. The successful candidate must be able to independently organize and manage their effort as a service oriented, quality-driven entity within the company.

 

Key Skills:



 

• 3-5 yrs of customer service/estimating/inside sales experience.

• Strong Print reading skills and the ability to provide complete takeoffs.

• Must be computer literate in MS Office products.

• Creative thinking and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communicator via phone, fax, e-mail and written correspondence with service oriented attitude.



 

Job Description:

 

• Responsible for maintaining a sales presence, offering value-added services and information, handling incoming calls, making out bound calls, interacting with other employees to provide professional sales quotations, follow-up and customer service to our account base.
• Setting and achieving periodic objectives to meet reasonable goals for growth, customer retention, customer pricing and profitability.
• Coordinate activities for outside sales reps while they are out of office.
