We currently have a Data Entry Clerk career opportunity at Tampa, Florida location.

 

NO EXPERIENCE IN OPTICAL MANUFACTURING NECESSARY TO APPLY.

 

POSITION PURPOSE: To accurately and efficiently enter Eyeglass Rx data into a computerized job tracking system. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Receive jobs from accounts, place in tray and prepare for processing by tracing enclosed frame and proofreading the Rx to check for any special instructions or missing information prior to data entry.Enter all information in the lab management system as quickly and accurately as possible.Ensure efficient work flow through the front office and into lens inventory/production lab.Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

 

 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:High School graduate or equivalent

· Previous data entry experience or comparable work background.

· Typing skills and 10 key by touch ability.Demonstrated attention to detail and quality focus. Demonstrated ability to work well with others.Able to use good judgment in order to maintain quality standards based on job knowledge. Excellent interpersonal communication skillsCapable of high-volume, fast-paced work.Able to read and understand written and verbal English instructions required for proper understanding of all operation, safety and prescription instructions. Able to sit or stand continuously throughout the shift, and able to walk, bend, stoop, lift, push and pull intermittently. Able to lift up to 10 lbs. continuously throughout the day, and up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
