DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST

We currently have an opening for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist.

 

Position Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to provide service to the customer by entering the customer data and updating the customer’s information accurately. Also, to ensure the proper testing by the commissioning technician at the initial commission date.

 

Environment:

Reports directly to the Data Integrity Lead.  This position continuously interacts with customers and regularly interacts with Customer Service, Data Entry Specialists, as well as with Branch  and National Accounts Personnel.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Enter all new customer account information from Schedule “Y” or equivalent received from the branch or ClientNet customer. Ensure that all the information that is missing on the Schedule “Y” and other pertinent data is received from the commissioning technician, sales, and/or customer.

2. Handle incoming phone calls from the commissioning technicians, sales, and/or customers.

3. Edit existing customer data from written request submitted by customer via mail, fax, or monitoring specialist.

4. Ensure that the PNC has received all the correct alarm signals at the time of commissioning.

5. Provide (back-up) Monitoring/Dispatch support as directed.

6. Responds quickly to data changes that need to be made due to changing requirements from the branches and the PNC.

 

Education & Experience:

 High School Diploma.  Associates Degree and/or Community College experience (desired).Nine months to one year previous alarm experience in an alarm field preferred.  Bi-lingual skills desired.  Internal PNC candidates must meet the criteria for Monitoring Level 2 or higher.
