Demand Planner - Service Planning

CITY/STATE: Boca Raton, FLPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/ProjectJOB CATEGORY: Logistics/TransportationEDUCATION LEVEL: Some College Coursework CompletedSALARY: 40,000.00 - 50,000.00 USD /year Demand Planner - Service Planning Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Service Parts Planning the successful candidate will be responsible for the Forecasting, Planning and Replenishment of EAS/RFID and ACVS service products and parts from local and over seas inter-company suppliers and balancing inventory across multiple Distribution centers. Responsibilities include:  · Develop service product forecasts based on historical trends using FGS/Logility software.· Proactively coordinate with service manufacturing and other locations/DC’s to ensure forecast accuracy.· Maintain forecast in system.· Conduct monthly demand reviews to address demand fluctuations.· Manage inter-cycle exceptions as and when they arise.· Assess and report supply performance from manufacturing sites comparing demand requirements to supply.· Identify and implement corrective actions as appropriate.· Manage inventory levels per corporate goals and objectives.· Perform inventory reporting/Analysis/Disposition· Balance inventory across multiple warehouses· Provide information on product availability and maintain planning parameters on the ERP system.· Proactively coordinate with Product Managers, business units and manufacturing supply sites new product introductions & transitions to minimize exposure to obsolescence while ensuring the timely introduction of new products without impacting customer service.   Job Requirements: · Some college coursework is required.  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is a strong plus.· 3 to 5 years related materials, inventory and/or purchasing planning/forecast experience is required.· Must possess excellent planning and organizational skills.· Experience in automated manufacturing and MIS systems is a strong plus.· Must be proficient in PC applications.· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Experience in Baan is a strong plus.· APICS Certification is a plus.  About Ultimate Staffing Want to work with people who care about your personal and professional growth?
