Moulton Logistics Management is a 36-year old company serving numerous clients in all areas of direct response fulfillment, including DRTV fulfillment, continuity programs, retail distribution, call center services and Web services. It operates from a 250,000 sq. ft. fulfillment and warehousing facility in Van Nuys, California, in proximity to the Los Angeles and Long Beach.

 

Candidate will be responsible for configuring, installing and supporting various software applications and hardware on desktops and laptops to operate within an enterprise network environment. Candidate will be troubleshooting and resolving desktops and laptops with hardware and software issues. This includes providing support for various connectivity methods, including email client troubleshooting, printer emulation, LAN gateway, TCP/IP transport, MS Office and VPN.

The successful candidate must have over 2 years of corporate environment Desktop Support experience and familiar with Servers, Routers and Switches. Candidates should have experience supporting Windows XP, Windows 2000, MS Office XP/2003/2007. Applicants must be able to handle a fast paced environment and have excellent communications skills.

 

Job Description:

 

·  Assist in the support of existing network infrastructure.

·  Administer and service desktops, laptops, printers and Mitel Phone System.

·  Diagnose equipment and configuration issues with a variety of applications on both desktops and servers via e-mail, phone or through remote connection utilities.

·  Support requests from end users by resolving software/hardware issues.

·  Troubleshoot, isolate and diagnose common PC problems.

·  Assist with PC, network hardware and software upgrades as required.

·  Documentation of procedures and policies.

 

Work Experience:

· Experience in supporting a 100+ user network. 

· Microsoft OS, Office experience required.

· Solid hands on Network support experience (LAN/WAN)

· VPN experience is a plus.

 

Qualifications:

 

· Excellent communication skills are a must (verbal & written & comprehension).

· Must be adaptive and flexible and have good problem solving, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.

· Strong customer service orientation is required.
