Development Engineer, Embedded Software

Description:Participate in the development of embedded real-time firmware for high performance digital AC servo drive products. Responsibilities include firmware design and unit testing for AC drive functionality including motor control algorithms, communication interfaces, sensor interfaces, safety functions, built in test, and diagnostics.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications1. BSEE with 2-7 years of experience or MSEE with 0-5 years of experience2. Proven competency in embedded firmware development with ability to optimize run time performance, memory, and simplicity.3. Experience with emulators and debuggers. 4. Familiarity with the application and physics of motion control systems. 5. Coursework in AC servo drives and motors. 6. Coursework in modern control theory. Desired Qualifications1. Experience with AC servo drives and motors.2. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix architecture and products.3.
