Description:The Development Engineer, Hardware researches, specifies, designs, prototypes, and tests servo systems. The engineer must have a multi-disciplinary background in power electronics, control hardware, software, and electro-mechanical actuators, as well as an understanding of a motion control system from a system perspective. Duties will include close cooperation with outside vendors, consultants and internal groups to develop new products.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2-7 years of experience or Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 0-5 years of experience.1. Familiarity with motion control systems2. Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills3. Strong verbal and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications1. Experience with AC servo drives and motors2. Experience with feedback control systems3.
