We have an immediate need for a Development Project Coordinator to play an integral role in the successful development and release of new products, and enhancement / upgrade projects. This position is responsible for tracking, coordinating, and reporting of new product development activities, in order to help ensure that goals are successfully met within the desired timeframes involved with each program.

 

Your contributions in this role will include:

 

· Monitoring on-going development projects, and regularly updating supportive schedule documentation.  Update formats will be tailored to multiple audience requirements.

· Coordinating internal and external resources for complete projects or portions of on-going engineering development projects. 

· Supporting related development activities; including updating engineering bills of materials, expediting parts purchases, and assisting in the preparation / revision of technical reports and requirements documents.

· Engaging in regular and one-time product management activities, which may include PLM phase activities status and SQR research and responses. 

· Participating in cross-functional team meetings, and updating schedules accordingly.

· Taking minutes of engineering development and design review meetings, and updating schedules based on any changes required.

· Working closely with product management to ensure that all functional and detailed engineering requirements, test requirements and customer delivery dates are known and under schedule.

 

Your background must include:

 

· At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, or other related experience.

· High proficiency in the use of MS Office applications, specifically MS Project.

· AA degree in a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively interact with multiple levels of the organization.

· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to details.

· Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.

· Must have initiative, and ability to problem solve quickly.
