Job Description:

Merial is seeking an experienced Director of Avian Business to join our International Region Team to continue to drive our outstanding growth within the avian sector of our international markets. Reporting to the VP of the International Region, the successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the avian business in key countries in Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Canada, in order to achieve our International Region, Global Avian and Company objectives.

 

Qualifications:

With a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent) qualification and at least 10 years of Avian Animal Health Industry sales, marketing or business experience the successful candidate must also: -
Possess demonstrated leadership experience, team building, people management and project management skills. Possess a high level of expertise in sales, marketing, key account and business management. Have demonstrated sound business judgment and analytical skills. Be a proactive leader with a strong customer orientation and knowledge of the avian industry.
Have a clear vision of the industry’s future and be willing to adapt marketing approaches to meet a changing future and be willing to travel extensively internationally and be able to provide technical expertise to customers and colleagues alike.
