Director Financial Planning and Analysis

Industrial manufacturing company located in Northern New Jersey is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.  This position reports directly to the CFO.  This position is critical in assisting the organization in achieving financial goals and ensuring compliance with internal controls.  Position responsibilities include:Consolidate and report monthly results Prepare and participate in monthly balance sheet reviews and financial updates with finance management team Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts Perform any variance analyses and provide interpretive comments and recommendations to management Ensure management is informed of the financial performance of the existing and future business Ensure all ad hoc requests from both internal and external (corporate) customers are managed and completed in a timely fashion Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company's key industries, major competitors and market trends

Key Requirements:Strong analytical and presentation skills 3+ years experience in FP&A role with combined 10+ years of work experience Familiarity with various performance measurement methods: balance sheet, P&L, non-financial methods An understanding of the accounting aspects of reporting and planning as much as the business issues Manufacturing background is preferred Familiarity with currency issues and transfer pricing in multi-product/multi-location business Strong communication and relationship building skills CPA and/or MBA preferred BPCS V6.02 / CEA
