EOE M/F/D/V The qualified individual will be responsible for: Be the internal GAAP expert and advise management on implications of new accounting pronouncements. Implement accounting rules, as needed Review financial statements of all business units to ensure proper application of accounting rules Oversee the compilation of consolidated financial statements and notes for external reporting Prepare Management Discussion & Analysis (10Q & 10K) Interact with external auditors and assist controller in issue resolution Assist controller in quarterly certification reviews Develop staff and succession planning. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in accounting and auditing combined Experience in SEC reporting (manufacturing industry a plus) Meaningful Public Accounting auditing experience (i.e. at manager level) CPA Bachelors degree required (MBA a plus) 4-5 years experience in managing a professional staff Excellent communication skills a must.
