High Level Statement of the Role

The Director of Global Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing toward attainment of the GSCM mission objectives.  Specifically, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing our supply base, assisting with logistics strategies, developing and implementing high performance work teams and culture, and improving our global supply chain processes and tools.

 

High Level Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign integrated supply chain strategies that are aligned with our Brand propositions and customer / market requirements.  Identify points for integration and collaboration between our supply chain and other functional areas across the enterprise to ensure optimized supply chain solutions are delivered which meet or exceed the customer and market requirementsCreate sustainable solutions and alternatives for our integrated supply chain fostering social responsibility and accountability Ensure service levels are met and key performance indicators are defined and in placeDevelop /enhance supply chain management tools, processes, and methods adopting best practicesDevelop staff and provide key leadership in recruitment, selection, and organizational development processesInstill a spirit of relentless improvement throughout the supply chain organization always pursuant to achieving operational excellenceCommunicate and champion our supply chain strategies and processes across the enterpriseEnsure ethical behavior between client and the supply base

Work/Educational Requirements10-20 years relevant prior supply chain leadership experienceSolid experience in program management and process managementHigh level of experience in global procurement, logistics, and manufacturing processesStrong international business experience, especially AsiaFour year degree is required, advanced degree preferredDemonstrated track record and career progression
