Director Talent Management & Organizational Development

Our client a $1B manufacturing company is seeking an experienced talent management professional to drive major talent and organizational initiatives.  The Director Talent Management & Organizational Development will be responsible for corporate recruiting, talent management/succession planning, training and organizational development activities at the company's corporate office.Reporting to the company's SVP HR, the Director Talent Management & Organizational Development will:• develop a strong understanding of the company's operations, culture and objectives in order to fashion and implement a talent management / organizational development strategy which compliments the organization;• develop strong relationships and lines of communication across all levels of the organization;• drives the timely and cost efficient recruiting of key professionals to achieve the company's objectives, • develops appropriate systems and processes to manage the staffing process at the corporate office;• works with the SVP HR and the HR management team to identify key training objectives, and identify and contract resources to provide the service to the organization;• works with the SVP HR, the HR management team, and senior line management to identify talent gaps and succession issues with in the organization and to develop strategies both for external sourcing of professionals and the development of internal personnel; and• provides organizational and management development consulting to the organization on an ad hoc basis.Candidates should possess a BS/BA degree. An MBA or MS in Organizational Development would be a plus. Ideal candidates will possess 8+ years of broad strategic HR experience including significant
