Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Leading national corporation located in Nashville TN desires a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Reporting to the VP-Finance this person would be responsible for preparing all internal financial planning and analysis, managing the annual budgeting and monthly forecast process, and providing support for strategic planning and corporate business development activities.

Essential functions include:Prepare ad hoc analysis for the CFO and other senior management team members Prepare and deliver major financial presentations and reports to senior management and the Board of Directors, including monthly and quarterly operating review packages Manage preparation of the annual budget and monitor changes to forecast Analyze and develop recommendations for significant budget and forecast to actual variances Oversee and develop long term capital expenditure planning process
Provide financial support to corporate business development, including financial modeling, profit improvement analysis, merger and acquisition financial due diligence, and post acquisition integration analysis Work with investor relations to produce and monitor competitive market data Provide analytical support to the business units where necessary

Education/Experience requirements: Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting, and either MBA in Finance/Accounting or CPA/CMA desired Minimum 10-12 years of financial analysis experience with track record of increased responsibilities; large public company experience preferred (revenues $1billion +) Acquisition due diligence, project management, and post merger integration experience desired Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; experience in BusinessPerformance Management (BPM) tools Excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent leadership and project management skills
