Director of International Sales

Mag Instrument, Inc. the highly successful manufacturer of the Mag-Lite® family of flashlights and one of the leading flashlight brands in the world has an immediate opportunity for a Director of International Sales to join our growing enterprise.

 

Responsibilities:

Managing and developing our international distributors and international accounts on a country by country basis by  Identifying the best methodology to sell our products internationally,Hiring new representatives and distributors, Negotiating terms and conditions for representative and distributor agreements, Indentifying new markets and channels of distribution to optimize sales, Developing marketing and sales infrastructure to support growth, and Identify strategic customers for product placement and locations for sales support offices,Accessing the rapid changes in the evolution of the Global Marketplace as it relates to Mag Instrument, Inc.,Member of the Corporate Safes and Marketing Team.

 

Qualified candidates will have:Candidate must have 12 - 15 years of demonstrated successful sales experience in International/Consumer Retail to include Hyper-market, DIY and Mass Merchant retailers. International Retail Industry knowledge primarily in Europe and Asia.

·  Comfortable working in an environment that includes different languages, cultures and social backgrounds.

·  Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills are a must.

·  Ability and willingness to travel internationally, extensive Travel is required.

·  Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, E-mail and Internet.

·  Bachelor’s Degree in International Marketing, business, or related field a plus.

 

The position is based at our Corporate Headquarters located in Ontario, California.
