Director of Materials

We are currently looking for a Materials Manager that is dedicated to these values providing excellent service and direction to meet our goal of complete customer satisfaction.

Our Materials Manager will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of the Purchasing and Inventory departments, including logistics for our multiple stations.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

* Monitor the daily tasks of employees to ensure timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of all inventory orders.

* Plan out station/department inventory needs and factoring in shipment lead time for them.

* Maintain strong working relationships with current suppliers with ability to locate and build new supplier relationships.

* Ability to track and maintain all required inventory levels; while tracking shelf life of current inventory.

* Pro-actively research and implement cost-savings plans and reduced pricing agreements with approved vendors.

* Interface with managers and external customers; providing daily/weekly reports as required.

* Supervise logistics department; including shipping/receiving, vehicle maintenance and agreements.

* Experience working in an Aircraft Repair Station environment preferred.

Qualifications include:

* Innovative and highly-motivated individual with proven ability to provide cost-savings without sacrificing quality of inventory.

* Excellent communication and organizational skills.

* Strong technical skills (PC, Microsoft Office, experience with ERP systems).

* Minimum of 5 years experience in Inventory Management

* Strong supervisory and training skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.

* Aerospace industry experience is required.
