Position: Director of Procurement
Reports To: Chief Administrative Officer

Position Summary:
The primary duty of the Director of Procurement is to direct all aspects of the Companies procurement policies including; negotiating purchase programs with key vendors, evaluate and approve vendors that are posted on the internal procurement web site, review success of previous programs, training and promoting group purchasing within the organization, research new trends or advances in product lines to make appropriate buying decisions, and develop relationships with vendors who will provide the best service, quality, price, terms and conditions, warranties, and technical assistance on the materials and supplies to be purchased.

Qualifications (Education/Experience) and Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2-4 years experience in related field
• Demonstrated skills in negotiating and managing large complex deals
• Must be proficient in all MS Office Programs
• Have solid analytical skills, accounting skills, and have effective communication skills
both verbal and written
• Must be well organized and detail oriented
• Have some familiarity with ERP accounting packages and how to pull and analyze data from them.
