Director of Quality

DIRECTOR OF QUALITY

 

The Bob Barker Company located in Fuquay-Varina, NC, is the industry leader in delivering innovative products and supplies to the correctional and rehabilitative industry. Due to growth, the Company is searching for a Director of Quality to assist the Chief Operating Officer in meeting the strategic quality initiatives.

 

As a member of the operations team this position will be responsible for the development of the corporate quality assurance program in both domestic and international manufacturing plants.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

 

·  Develop and implement the quality assurance program to include the continuous improvement program, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC and ISO.

·  Work with purchasing to maintain a vendor certification program.

·  Analyze and resolve customer complaints as it relates to manufacturing quality.

·  Develop product testing specifications.

·  Identify and prioritize quality metrics and measurement, MiniTab & SPSSX.

·  Experience working with leadership & executive staff.

·  Some international travel may be required.

·  Accountable for financial performance of the department.

·  Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience.
