For quick consideration apply here-Schedule the day-to-day movement of freight through interaction with drivers and team members. -Provide accurate and detailed information regarding directions, load information, pick-up/delivery times and other special load related information. -Meet service and delivery goals. -Responsible for the general welfare of a driver while he/she is on the road. -Accurately record load and driver related information into the company's logistics/planning system. -Accountable for enhancing driver satisfaction and retention through a professional dispatch partnership. -Communicate with customers and sales staff. -Handle large volumes of phone calls in a timely manner while making accurate and precise decisions regarding prioritizing shipment pick ups, deliveries, maintenance, etc. -Set and confirm appointments and provide feedback to customers as required. - willing to work flexible, and extended hours, if needed. QUALIFICATIONS: -Must be a team player. -Must have excellent communications skills. -Must be highly motivated and growth oriented. -Minimum 2+ years of successful driver dispatch or 2+ years of progressively responsible work experience related to the transportation or construction industry. -Must have outstanding knowledge of Metro Atlanta area. -Must have a clear understanding of the company' goals and objectives with respect to maximizing revenue, maximizing utilization, and minimizing down time. -Proficient with computer software i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and solid computer skills.Apply today at Oldcastle.comFor quick consideration apply here
