The Distribution Person performs general material handling functions, receiving products, and customer order processing. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, this role has responsibility for:Unloading trucks and accurately breaking down and stocking freight in accordance with QRA standards and local proceduresProcessing orders including accurately picking, checking, sorting, consolidationg freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and shipment confirmation of customer ordersPerforming housekeeping, inventory control, maintaining a clean work environment, and complying with all QRA/EHS and safety requirementsHigh School diploma or GED requiredPrevious warehouse experience preferred Automated or RF (Radio Frequency) warehouse experience beneficialMust poseses effective communication skills Ability to operate material handling equipment (order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts)Ability to work standing for long periods of time with frequent stooping or bendingAbility to lift up to 75 poundsAbility to be detail oriented and quality focusedAbility to be self-motivatedAbility to work in a team oriented environmentAbility to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution quotas and standardsMust be flexible to work overtime as neededThis position is currently on 2nd shift.
