Currently we are seeking an energetic, driven, results-oriented Distribution & Transportation Manager for our Distribution Center in Richmond, Indiana.

 

Distribution & Transportation Manager

 

Responsibilities include:Direct activities to insure customer orders are shipped both in a timely and accurate manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfactionResponsible for developing action plans to improve the operation’s efficiency and insure accuracy of inventory.Direct all facets of Distribution Center / Transportation activitiesDirect and administer programs to insure a safe work environment, while insuring compliance to all environmental responsibilities.Develop and manage within operating budget Plan and direct the implementation of traffic programs for all Belden facilities.Maintain procedures to insure that Distribution/Transportation function processes conform to ISO 9000 requirements, as well as ensuring compliance to regulatory agencies.Direct the continued implementation of Lean principles within the Distribution Center and the Transportation function.



Qualified candidates will posses:A bachelor’s degree in management or logistics5 to 10 years of management experience3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and materials distributionExcellent communication and motivational skills.
