Distributor Sales Rep

Lightolier a premiere leader in the lighting industry is seeking  seasoned sales rep for our Los Angeles  marketplace. The incumbent will achieve maximum profitability and market penetration by effectively selling the company’s products to key accounts in an assigned territory.  The sales representative  will develop strong relationships with key distributors by maintaining and growing current relationships and developing new accounts.

 

Requirements:

 High school education with college level coursework and 5 to 10 years experience of selling to the electrical community; Knowledge of lighting, electrical wholesales business, and distributor business.  Knowledge of doing takeoffs, putting together job packages.3 years of technical sales experience in a related industry or an equivalent combination of education and experienceGood computer skillsComfortable in a fast paced, results driven environment.  Willing and available to travel as needed
