Position Description:

Products include: electro-fused ceramics, high performance refractories, advanced ceramics, silicon carbide, specialty crystals, chemical process products and high performance plastics.Job Title: District Sales Manager (LOC) - Speciality Coated Fabrics Job Goals:Responsible for the sale of Specialty Coated Fabrics to end users. The position is required to grow sales at OEM end users throughout a defined account base and target account/market list in North America that supports revenue and margin growth (minimum 6% YoY growth with a target of 10% YoY growth annually). In addition, the SALES MANAGER will be expected to: maintain and grow an existing customer base, identify new application opportunities for existing and developmental products, produce an accurate sales forecast for the territory, share competitive information back to the business, as well as support marketing and product management in their business initiatives. The candidate will be required to spec sell at OEM's that leads to new applications sold for SCF coated fabric products into target markets that include electronics, electrical insulation, aerospace, flooring, factory food, tortilla, industrial expansion joint, QSR and others as defined and required by SCF market managers.Education, Skills and Requirements:• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent successful technical sales experience and results• 3-5 years of successful end user specification selling experience or business and application development experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in PTFE coated fabrics, non- wovens or PTFE films • Experience and knowledge of applications in defined markets for PTFE coated fabric products • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs. Required and demonstrated experience in using a CRM sales database for reporting and managing accounts and business development activities • A valid US Passport in order to travel internationally as required especially to Canada.or Mexico• Fluency in the French or Spanish language a plus Responsibilities:• Manage existing account base and grow a sales territory to meet/exceed business goals and objectives in terms of gross sales, profit plans and growth over PYF sales of minimum 6% with a target of 10% annual growth• Spec sell Saint-Gobain PTFE Coated Fabric products to OEM's. Support SFT Film, Tape, and PSAT Sales and new SFT business opportunities at assigned and target accounts within the SCF focused segment • Identify new opportunities via the collection of competitive information and the reporting of new market/technology trends leading to the development of new SFT product/market programs.• Collaborate with SCF marketing department, to assist in the development of advertising and promotional programs, telemarketing plans and tradeshow participation necessary to achieve product line sales objectives.• Maintain effective communication across all levels of SFT and SCFregarding customer issues and opportunities. All level's include sales management, technical staff, marketing, csr team, and all operational personnel.• Work with csr team, and manufacturing to provide accurate and timely information regarding customer demand in order to support cost effective scheduling of manufacturing operations necessary to support sales and service objectives for the business and the customer base• Timely reporting of all sales activities into the CRM/Sales Logix database• Travel 60-75% TO APPLY: For immediate consideration, please apply below.
