Division Logistics/Transportation Analyst

  DIVISION LOGISTICS/TRANSPORTATION ANALYST   Cooper Lighting, based in Peachtree City, Georgia, is an industry-leading manufacturer of lighting products for commercial, industrial, residential, utility and retail markets and is a division of Cooper Industries, a Fortune 500 Company.    Our Peachtree City office has an immediate opportunity for a Division Logistics/Transportation Analyst.  This position reports directly to the Division Logistics Manager.    RESPONSIBILITIES: Ø  Manages cost/service projects, provides cost/service impact for lane, carrier, and utilizes sourcing changes.        Ø  Utilizes Batch Mark (SMC3 software), PC Miler, Freight payment data, and SAP to gather data for analysis and benchmark results Ø  Implements EDI alternatives to improve in-transit reporting, Updates and maintains SAP routing table Ø  Develops and maintains Carrier Quality Supplier Programs.
