Cooper Power Systems, a $1 Billion division of Cooper Industries, has an immediate opening for a Drafter at our Greenwood, South Carolina facility. Position Responsibilities: We’re looking for a candidate which can work closely with the Engineer’s to make calculations, select equipment and determine materials required to produce optimum products efficiently and economically. You will prepare engineering changes and deviations as required following department procedures. Design and layout details and complete assembly drawings from information received from engineers. Work directly with engineers and immediate supervisor and assist them by contributing ideas and converting sketches into complete, workable assemblies. Position Qualifications: Associate Degree in Graphic Design or similar field. Strong mathematical skills. Intermediate to proficient skills in the Microsoft Office Suite Applications and AutoCad. Good verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and schedule adherence. Experience with SAP and Visual Basic is a plus.
