EHS Technician

SUMMARY

Assists in the planning, development, training and monitoring of the environmental health and safety activities by performing the following essential functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following for Salisbury associates. Other duties may be assigned.



· Assists in new hire safety orientation, lock-out tag-out training and waste management training.

· Measures/monitors indoor air quality.

· Maintains EHS training matrix and database.

· Assists in forklift safety training and evaluations.

· Maintains database for air permits requirements and generates reports.

· Secretary for safety committee.

· Participates in accident incident report investigations and leads corrective action

· Assists in CPR and First Aid program.

· Generates reports in Clarity Training Program.

· Conducts weekly inspections or waste accumulation area.

· Assists in shipment of waste RCRA

· Hazardous waste handling.

Bi-lingual a plus, but not required
