ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - WEST CHICAGO
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Liquid Container L.P., (www.liquidcontainer.com) a national plastic blow molding manufacturer of custom and stock containers has an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer in our West Chicago, IL facility.
The responsibilities of the position include troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading of electrical control systems. The position requires emphasis on PLC programming, CAD documentation, machine guarding and safety systems, and machine integration to existing equipment. The Electrical Engineer is a “hands-on” employee and a significant portion of time is to be spent on the plant floor.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of industrial controls using ladder schematics, one-line documentation, AutoCAD, PLC software, VFD programming, hydraulics and pneumatics. A BSEE or equivalent degree and at least five years prior experience is required.
